Hi Bill.

My name is Eric Luchman. I am writing from Layton Ave.
Baptist Church in Greenfield, WI. I got your
information from a member of our church. She said that
one of your members joined our worship team about two
years ago, but left around last summer. The reason I
am writing is because we are in need of a drummer in
the next few months. We are trying to form a more
consistent team that plays twice a month and plays
more contemporary songs. Please let me know what the
process is to have a drummer consider joining our
team.

Blessings in Christ,
Eric Luchman

Dear Bill,

I got a flyer from a person at New Song Church about your "Drummers for Jesus" group.
I pastor a church on the near southside of Milwaukee and for some time now we have been praying that God would send us a drummer for our worship team. If there is a person in your group who is not currently busy with their own church on Sunday morning, I would be interested in meeting them to talk.
We are a small church with a passion for worship. We play a lot of contemporary music and our congregation is often enthusiastically involved. We typically do about 45 Minutes of Worship before we go to offering, annoucements, and message. We start at 10:00 am and are usually done by 11:45-12:00

Thank You,

Pastor Harry Eisenmenger

Bill,

I have heard great things about your group for several years.  I am the music minister at Northwest Baptist Church in Milwaukee.  I know you get emails like this all the time, but I am looking for a drummer.  We have had a faithful guy for the past 5 years.  He is just somewhat limited in his skills, and we really need a better quality drummer to progress as a worship team.  We are building a new 400 seat sanctuary.  I feel convicted that the quality and presentation of the Gospel through music need to improve.  To have a solid groove, we need a good base.

We have some budget money to spend on a musician. I know that this is an area of controversy for some, but I do feel that we can value someone's work and service in this way.  I also feel that at this time for our music ministry it is that important.

We have a band based worship team with keyboards, electric guitar, bass, acoustic guitar, and several core singers.  Our bass guy is a session musician, and we are looking for someone of skill to plug in on the kit.

Any feedback or suggestions I would appreciate.
